I Gnow Gnomes are Real I was camping in a friend's-parent's back yard while temporarily working in San Diego. This back yard was very long, with many trees and ended at a chain-link fence and a freeway. One early evening as I walked around the back corner of their garage with my large dog I clearly saw 3 gnomes standing about 50 feet away having a conversation. Looking like stereotypical garden gnomes- 2 feet tall, dressed in green, wide black belts and wearing pointy hats. One was smoking a pipe. I was astonished, my dog went, 'WOOF' and charged down the hill at them. They startled, looked at us, then turned and charged into a hole in the high hedge along that side of the yard. Interestingly, when they turned towards the hedge they bent over at the waist and ran without bending their knees. My dog crashed into the hole and stopped suddenly, as if he'd hit a wall. Well, he did. A few feet into the hole was a solid chain link fence with nowhere to go. Some dimensional thing, I guess. That's it. Gnomes living in the suburbs. This experience has helped me keep an open and curious mind.

I'm just going to step out on a limb and say that if the DIA thought this place had any actual value, then the History Channel wouldn't be filming its Nth season of a television show on the property. Or anywhere remotely close to it. That's kind of the thing about the Military Industrial Complex and the Intelligence Community, if they want a thing or see that it may be some use, then they have no qualms about going in, saying: "Patriot Act Patriot Act National Security," setting up a cordon, and telling everyone to f&ck off.

I have prophetic dreams all the time. Many of them come true, but I stay quiet. For example, I told my friends in the mid-90s that all movie film will be obsolete, and they would digitally create higher quality movies, than movie film, without tapes or film. I also predicted that no one would read paper books, that they would look at a screen, and swipe their finger across to turn the pages. If only I had pursued these concepts myself, when I had the dreams!

THIS IS EASY GUYS: its called Piblitok or cabin fever. Ask any native or any artic denizen about being in the same cabin or igloo for months at a time, especially with someone else there with you. A psychotic event is the result of snow blindness and utter rejection of being imprisoned by nature. It explains everything described on the inside of the cabin, the idea they ran out without guns etc... not surprising they ran away from each other, after all they shot at each other inside the cabin before they left.

I think this case should be reopened, very strange how it was handled by the police.Nicky didnt get justice and l do not believe she drowned in such a shallow river.According to the coroner she fell in and passed immediately.When found she was covered in bruises damage to her eye and nose.Bruises on her arms and thigh.How did she get those injuries.She was allegedly seen at 9.15 am then in seven minutes at 9.22 she was covered in bruises and unalive.Why was Jason Rothwell person who found her contacted by a " friend" to go to the river that day she was found.l hope one day this case is reopened because she did not drown it was no accident.Justice for Nicola someone out there knows the truth.

I'm like super late to this video but I wondered since she did mention that the area doesn't feel right, if it's tied to something supernatural. It's a far fetch but who knows what this world really holds. If her body were to be in the water the entire time, they would've seen her body float up upon arriving or would've found it when they did a mass search. Unless she was taken somewhere and then dumped there after things were calming down, that's unlikely because the dog might've fought back if she was taken advantage of and the dog might've also been lost. The police didn't do a good job; they just wanted to close the case as fast as possible, which is uncool. Strange missing cases are terrible because you don't know what happened and can only go off whatever evidence you have.

I'm not from the UK but I've heard about this case i believe Andrew started a new life and there's no law saying you need to notify your family will this case be solved no it's 2024 no new updates or anything kid's 14 older now just let this whole thing rest

I'm from Tofino. I remember hearing that the dad went up to grab his camera fro. Their vehicle, and when he came back, his boy was gone. And they found his little red coat in the water.

Why had I never heard of/remembered this case? He reminds me of the character Sam in Coronation Street who is also gifted. I hope he is doing well somewhere

This is seriously the most mysterious case I've ever taken time to research. I hope Andrew is still alive and that we'll eventually get all the answers we're looking for. It just seems like Murphy's law. There were some definite times in the case where there couldn've been some big leads but sometbing happens where that lead comes to nothing because of some annoying factor.

She could've also been malnourished or dehydrated, particularly if she'd picked up a stomach bug etc. (perhaps from drinking questionable water). Edit: There is also the possibility she had a fall (causing the bruise or not) causing head trauma, and that the crash didn't cause much or any damage. I've also seen stories of people feeling like they are being stalked and seeing figures that aren't actually there, just from the fear of being alone in the woods (hence not wanting to interact with real people, as confusing them with the hallucinations). She could've also entered a fugue state after a time and her brain defaulted to 'goal is to go north to Yosemite' as that was a clear aim for her. It's a shame they couldn't get her family out to that area, she may have been distrusting of strangers, but perhaps would've been able to recognise their voices 😢 The Kayden sighting, makes me wonder if he saw a poster (that his family didn't notice) on the way in and got confused or worried about seeing her once out there

The natives there won't let people go up the mountain or come back down so if the aliens or whatever is on the mountain don't kill the travelers that go there the natives will kill them.

I have lived my entire life within 10 miles of the boys monument. I have visited the site more than a few times. I have hunted the area often and the country is steep and winding. I wouldn't call it rugged but very confusing if you're not familiar with it. Every hill and holla looks just like the next one and the next one etc.. Something that I have never heard addressed in the telling of this story is the state of the forest itself. The area was being heavily logged in the period the boys disappeared. If the area had been logged and was a “chopins” ( logged area with discarded tree tops, limbs and stumps) It would have been extremely difficult to search. McCarthy's book has more than a few exaggerations but seems to be true to the basic story. Bob’s Creek is not large at all. It has never produced a wave 3ft. tall. It can be easily crossed many places even by a child. The boys clearly were able to cross it. It is still considered an odd mystery to this day. People still leave small gifts of toys at the monument for the young boys.

Such a weird, frustrating, sad story. I hope his parents find some peace. I hope their son is safe.

I'm Dutch and I discovered on yt that Nicola was missing. I didn't think her husband had something to do with it. The police needs to take a long hard look in a mirror.

I'm from outside the UK and knew about the case. I feel that you should put a hugue blame on the police. Why they didn't check the CCTVs? And to investigate the family is no excuse, you could do the two things simutaneously . If you want to know about two really really misterious disappearances check two Spanish cases from 1986: el niño pintor de Málaga (painter boy from Málaga) and el niño de Somosierra (Somosierra's boy). Two absolute mindblowing cases.

Nobody just ' dis-appears - they remain for a period and sometimes forever unfound. It would be interesting to know if The Coroner analysed the water in Nicola's lungs to determine the chemical make up of the water. If the theory of pre- drowning ( say in a bath) and then planting her body in the river was valid or validated by evidence then that would clear a lot of speculation up. As far as I know ( I'm no expert) you cannot get water into the lungs of an already dead person - apart from pumping water into the lungs under pressure. Gruesome stuff I know but a possibility. More gruesome is the fact that a body after a while will bloat and the bloating makes the body float to the surface and that is what the unfortunate discoverers of Nicola's body witnessed. But the question remains as to how Nicola's body got into the water? That is the key element and apparently the Coroner can only note the cause of death drowning but not the reason for the drowning. The puzzle is considering how shallow and slow moving the river is over a mile and the actuality that all rivers flow downstream - ever heard of a river flowing upstream apart from a bore? is that no experts could find Nicola's body on the first one or two sweeps. That's the difficult part as the theory of death by other means previously and then placed in the river later ,as in she was not in the river on the first search would be revealed by what type and constituents of water was found by The Coroner. Wouldn't it? No accusations about anyone at all here but witnesses ( dogwalkers who knew Nicola) say the " saw " her. Facially or by recognition of her bob hat and Willow from behind? It is possible that Willow was baffled because the person the dog was with was unknown or not close to him/her - no connection unlike Nicola. Speculation. The phone was found on the bench and Nicola didn't say a word or type a word even to say hello to colleagues despite not having to be in the chat? SHE adjusted the volume on the phone? Not necessarily, someone adjusted the volume - who knows whether that was Nicola or not? That is assumption. Pure speculation, but to my eyes the whole thing looks like a set up of ' Look how alive I Nicola was before my dis -appearance. ' The police were very unprofessional and there are theories as to why they aimed at Nicola's alleged drugs /menopause/ alcoholism and that was to make their initial theory fit: Nicola was pissed/drugged up and emotional and that's why she jumped into the water. Utterly unprofessional. This is nothing new. The Corner's re[port is key here but I cannot remember the report being flagged up on the TV. Similarly the Dawn Sturgess ( Salisbury - Skripals etc) actual cause of death is parallel to many cases. And the police and the MSM wonder why so many Conspiracy Theories exist?

Its unexplainable unless a group of sick people held them against their will and starved them to death and then staged a bunch of sceneros that they thought were disability people were so dumb and funny to them. The most sensical explanation I can think of, is that all the phenomena is done by government people to try and spook them off the property so they can buy it cheaply. I wouldn't put it past them considering how much evil illegal stuff the CIA has done. But at the same time it doesn't explain the other government officials experiences, maybe they just weren't in on it? Weird.

There's this retired US police officer, who had researched deeply into this kind of weird events, David Paulides. He produced four books full of details and evidences. Missing 411. This phenomena seems to occur worldwide and, so far, it has never been explained, and mostly, denied by authorities.

Nothing about this case makes sense to me. If she had a head injury and was so disoriented and confused that she didn’t understand she was lost and needed help and didn’t say anything to people she encountered, how was her mind sound enough to survive in the wilderness with no supplies and no shoes for a MONTH? I don’t buy the head injury theory tbh. Something weird is up here.

Does anyone remember that incident of a jogger in London randomly shoving a woman in front of a bus, as he passed her. But the bus stops in time? I wonder if somebody randomly saw Nicola stood by the water, and decided to push her in as a prank? And realising how widely covered the story came, hasn't come forward due to embarrassment, and fear of backlash?

Charles McCullar unfortunately picked the wrong time of year to visit Crater Lake. If you are familiar with winters there or simply read about how harsh they are every year, you'd agree. Experienced hiker maybe, winter camping survivalist - no. The north entrance to Crater Lake Park is closed for the winter. The southern entrance is however open, but over 40 miles from the northern entrance. I think McCullar made it to the north entrance (via walking and hitch hiking), found it closed, but entered anyway after finding how farther away the southern entrance was. Back country hiking in heavy forested areas is dangerous. Cover this terrain with 5 feet of snow makes back country hiking absolutely dangerous. Nick Kyle from Missing Enigma (perhaps the best analyst of known facts about missing 411 cases he takes on) was able to procure a copy of the official report. I think through this official report and his analysis of all suppositions made by family, friends, searchers and witnesses - that a horrible accident occurred and McCullar succumbed to the elements. My personal opinion is that he made it to Crater Lake, got his pictures, was short on time to return and cut cross country up along Bybee creek (back country, no trails and most likely not part of the major search area). I think he found a place to camp, and approached Bybee creek from an elevated drop off or cliff to see if he could get water. He stepped out on a cornice or snow bridge to see if there was access down and broke through. Falling a fair distance, I think one or both legs were broken sealing his fate. The area where his remains and some gear were found is at the convergence of Bybee creek and another creek. During spring melt, this is a flood area. If the camera is ever found, we may learn more. My prayers go out to his family. Keep up the great reporting! People can learn a lot from these.

On Vancouver Island, or indeed barely north of Vancouver city on the mainland, it's entirely possible for a mountain lion to take a small child and vanish. Even a wolf, although that's more likely on the island. Not to mention falling down a hole, old mine shaft, or just into a fast creek. So many ways to "mysteriously" go missing here.

Given the child's reaction, could everyone be seeing her ghost?
